syncing two RFduinos to within ~50ms over ~2 hours
« on: June 06, 2016, 11:28:54 AM »

I'm using two RFduinos to collect movement data using MPU6050s and storing it locally in an SD shield.  Both store the data around 100 times a second.  My issue is that I need the two readings to be within maybe ~50ms of each other for ~2 hours.  So I wouldn't want one sensor to save >5 records more than the other over 2 hours.  At first I naively assumed synchronizing the two over BLE would be somewhat trivial.  I'd love to hear any potential software/hardware solutions including extra parts (though at the moment all six of my IO pins are in use with the sd shield and the MPU and size is definitely a factor).  I also have two RFduino Pros that I could use, so really the only potentially free pins for communicating between the two are the RxD , TxD and RTS pins.  Any input is appreciated, really stuck on what the best move is here.
