5V on USB board?
« on: November 17, 2013, 04:40:37 PM »
I am going to use a logic level converter on my rfduino and I was wondering. Is there anyway to tap into the 5V coming off the usb rather than run another 5V line? This way I could build a logic level shield with 5V tolerant inputs/outputs?

The USB shield doesn't have an official 5V tap, but if you are comfortable soldering you can tap into the 5V rail from the USB connector, see the schematic it should help.
