Nordic nRF51822 development with RFduinos
« on: October 23, 2014, 03:17:12 PM »
I started to work with the Nordic SDK and bought some RFduinos because they seem to be a small and easy to use prototype platform.
However, Nordic has two main versions of their SDKs published (4.4.2 and 6.1.0) as well the appropriate versions of the BLE stack itself.
The newest versions of the SDK are only supported by certain IC versions but I could not found a detail specification which IC is soldered on the RFduino so I do not know if I could use the newest one or have to stick to the old one.

Mine are labeled with:

RFD22301
1349
IC: 6992A-25
FCC ID: UYI25
MODEL:R25

Can you provide some information about the details of the IC?
Thank you.
