The source code for the iOS Apps are located here in this zip file:

Unzip the file.
Go to this folder:
RFduino\iPhone Apps\

There you will find the source for the 4 iOS demo apps.

I have the latest iPhone OS and the latest RFduino colorwheel app. However as soon as I open the app it closes to the background. I have other blue tooth apps that will connect to the RFduino just fine but I need the colorwheel app so I can set my Christmas light colors.

Many people are report this problem. Can you update your Colorwheel app so it works on iPhone again.

I wrote some software that lots of people use on the RFduino but my software needs the iPhone colorwheel app to connect to it in order to tell my program to change the lights.

I passed the problem onto the RFduino Team. Hopefully, they figure out what iOS 9 changed.

In the mean time, you can help me test out my evoColorWheel app that is suppose to run on both iOS and Android. It works with the standard RFduino ColorWheel Sketch clones where the received data array represents... data[0] red, data[1] green, data[2] blue.
You only have to install the Evothings Client onto your iDevice or Android device from the respective APP Stores. There are two APPs from Evothings. You need the Evothings Client. NOT the Evothings Viewer.

The symbol looks like this...

It can connect via what they call a workbench for development, or by entering a URL Address..
You need to use the URL method...enter

Hi all ,,

Don't bother downloading any of the rfduino apps on the App Store , as they just don't work with iOS 9.1

The request has been made numerous times on other topics to fix it , but sadly no one has tried to make an effort .

About 2 weeks have gone by and the App Store still isn't updating the RFduino Apps. But Apple upgraded the iOS to 9.2. Didn't help the Apps though.

So In the meantime, has anybody tried my evothings version of ColorWheel. It works on both iOS and Android once you install the Evothings Client App as described earlier.

For anybody who wants to use it with ToddFun's GE G-35 Christmas Lights adaptation, I have a version with a pattern chooser for that. Let me know.
