Compile error: syscalls.c.o: No such file or directory
« on: February 17, 2016, 10:51:50 AM »
Just setting up a new installation.  I followed the guide but get the following error.

arm-none-eabi-g++: error: C:\Users\XXXXXX\AppData\Local\Temp\build65d7d64098a021a14da6959a606ab39d.tmp/syscalls.c.o: No such file or directory

A Windows 7 64 bit machine.  I have tried a few different Arduino versions 1.6.7, 1.6.5 r2, and 1.6.6 all with the same issue.

I can copy syscalls.c.o from C:\Users\XXXXXX\AppData\Local\Temp\build65d7d64098a021a14da6959a606ab39d.tmp/core/ and move it to C:\Users\XXXXXX\AppData\Local\Temp\build65d7d64098a021a14da6959a606ab39d.tmp/ and the compile works fine.
This is inconvenient.  Can I change the path for this somewhere?

I have it working.  Followed the Sparkfun guide that has some more details than the ones directly from Simblee.

https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/simblee-concepts/

The critical step was this one below:
------------------------------------------
For Arduino 1.6.5, use this link:
https://www.simblee.com/package_simblee_index.json

For Arduino 1.6.7 or later, use the following link:
https://www.simblee.com/package_simblee166_index.json
