Is there a watchdog timer capability for SImblee
« on: March 08, 2017, 02:50:23 PM »
All,

For Arduino, there is a watchdog timer that can be used to help prevent lockups by resetting the microprocessor if it becomes unresponsive.  Is there a similar functionality for the Simblee?  I tried using one of my Arduino watchdog sketches but it will not allow the #include <avr/wdt.h> or reference to any of the standard watchdog functions such as wd_reset();

Please advise, or point me to an alternative.

Thanks,

Chip

Can't use any AVR specific functions. The Simbee is a ARM Cortex M0 microprocessor. To get an idea of what built-in capabilities and registers are google for the nRF51822 datasheet.
