Deep Sleep and Watchdog Timer
« on: April 17, 2015, 08:06:36 AM »
A nice feature would be if you can wake up the RFduino from an internal
source like the Watchdog Timer. With all other Arduino based systems
this is possible. Now you only can do this by change an IO pin. In that
case you can build real "low power" BLE devices.

Watch Dog timers are meant to reset a system when the system gets locked up when it is suppose to be running.

[EDIT] But, waking up from sleep based on a timer is what the ULPDelay() function is for.
