Getting Started / RFduino built-in led doesn't work!
« on: November 12, 2016, 04:16:11 AM »
Hi all,

I am totally new to RFduino, installed everything, and deployed a code to simply blink the built-in LED, NOT THE LED ON RGB SHIELD as I don't have an RGB shield.
The code is pretty standard as recommended by many out there, setup and loop as follows;
#include <RFduinoBLE.h>
int LED_BUILTIN = 3;

// the setup function runs once when you press reset or power the board
void setup() {
  // initialize digital pin LED_BUILTIN as an output.
  pinMode(LED_BUILTIN, OUTPUT);
}

// the loop function runs over and over again forever
void loop() {
  digitalWrite(LED_BUILTIN, 1);   // turn the LED on (HIGH is the voltage level)
  delay(1000);                       // wait for a second
  digitalWrite(LED_BUILTIN, 0);    // turn the LED off by making the voltage LOW
  delay(1000);                       // wait for a second
}

However, I am not sure how to see this code running!

May sound very basic, but please help.

I guess I won't have to run a code on RFduino necessarily using a mobile app and Bluetooth connectivity.

My RFduino has USB and battery sheilds stacked on the main board, and is connected to the USB on the laptop.

What should I do to see this code running?

Thanks.
