Log Data Sent from RFDuino
« on: February 25, 2015, 08:53:49 AM »
My RFDuino is sending data every 2 seconds.

What method do I need to use to NSLog this?

Will CoreBluetooth detect a RFDuino?

I've tried every method in regards to central manager, peripheral on both the RFDuino side and CoreBluetooth side and I'm getting nothing.

Any tips?

Yes, CoreBluetooth will work just fine with RFduino. Are you starting from the manufacturer's demo code or from scratch?

Most of the work on the iOS side really revolves around the GATT discovery process and handling all the complications that come with an asynchronous service like BLE. Even if you don't need the flexibility of sending structured data, you might look at this library I posted, specifically this file that does most of the CoreBluetooth interaction: https://github.com/cconway/RFduinoUBP/blob/master/iOS/UBP-Demo/UBP-Demo/RFduinoManager.swift
