Simple servo breadboard results in Servo App error
« on: January 15, 2015, 11:45:10 AM »
The circuit seemed pretty simple:

RFduino
Battery Pack - 3xAA
3 volt regulator - Pololu 3V step-up/dwn
5 volt regulator - Pololu 5V step-up/dwn
2xFutaba S3107G Servos

Wiring:
Connected battery +/- to Vin/Gnd pins of the breadboard
Connected Vo=5 volt and Gnd to the + and Gnd pins of the two servos
Connected Vo=3 volt and Gnd to the 3V and Gnd pins of the RFduino
Connected RFduino GPIO 2 and GPIO 3 to the S leads of the servo

Connected battery:

RFduinio showed up on iOS App
  Clicked on the RFduino device....

and.... Error!

Other:
Arduino 1.5.8

Make sure you have the latest rfduino firmware.... Previous ones are known to have connection errors at startup... Or disconnection at random intervals
