BLE IOS Joystick
« on: October 09, 2014, 06:38:05 PM »
I'm new to this whole technology but just got a RFduino development board and Bluetooth 4.0 LE board.

I would like to control a wheelchair using my iphone.  The wheelchair joystick has two pots that control forward/reverse and left/right as well as speed. I'm looking for an IOS app the mirrors the existing joystick.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Thanks

Depending on the voltage those analog pots are controlling, you may look at using Digital Pots instead. They would be easy to control with the RFduino and you can mimic  a linear, logarithmic or anything in between.
Here is a Youtube video of someone doing a similar thing.
