Bluetooth Services Supported
« on: November 29, 2013, 04:50:20 PM »
Attempting to get a connection to a windows machine using the bluecove project.  Have been able to make service connections to other devices in the past but a service discovery of the rfDuino seems to show no native implementations of the bluetooth services.  Is this something that needs to be added to the source files?  Or are there plans to implement these at a later date?  If anybody knows a different how to make a raw connection with a bluetooth device, preferably with java, that would be a great help for the time being.

Hi, I'm not familiar with BlueCove. Does it support BLE devices in general?

It's a pretty popular bluetooth stack but so far I can't find any bluetooth stack that supports BLE for windows 7.  Found a post somewhere about windows 8 might work but as I don't have windows 8, i'm still on the hunt for a way to make a connection from a windows machine to an RFDuino.
