General Support / Re: Arduino IDE not working for other Arduino types now

8)Under Tools, select Board: Arduino Uno.

That is how you switch between different Arduino boards.  Your other options is to download and setup two different Arduino IDE apps pointing to different directories.

iOS / Re: iBeacon? - iOS 7.1.1 appears to be the culprit

After reading this message, I restarted the iPhone running 7.1.1 and it now seems to work.  The developer reported that the iBeacon detection will fail at some point.

I have two iPhones. One is running iOS 7.0.6 and one is running iOS 7.1.1.
I am using two iBeacon apps.  1) Beecon 2) Locate IB by Radius.
I used both the apps and the RFduino as iBeacons.
I used the apps as receivers.

The older version iOS 7.0.6 works as expected and can locate iBeacons.  The new version iOS 7.1.1 does not seem to find iBeacons and cannot locate iBeacons.  Both 7.1.1 and 7.0.6 transmit iBeacons.

So apple must have changed the underlying receiver code so the apps no longer can receive and respond to the ibeacon.

I also downloaded the Xcode Bluetooth Explorer application on my Mac Mini.  Using the tool under menu devices: Low Energy Devices, I can also see the ibeacon advertising data coming in.

Note I did enter the UUID information and still no beacons found.

So the Beecon app does not find the iBeacon RFduino either.  I have downloaded the sketch iBeacon from the Arduino SDK.
Note all the other apps work: Temperature, Color, Switches

Is there some way to break the RFduino so that iBeacon functionality does not work? But the other functions work.

I am assuming the Beecon should find any iBeacon since I could not find a setting to filter by parameters.

Where can I get the RFduino welcome home app?

What IOS app can detect the RFDuino ibeacon?  I have tried several including Locate IB and BeaconWiz.  Neither will detect the RFduino loaded with the iBeaconSettings app.

Am I missing something?
